| 06.10.2003 Susan (Kent, UK) Small but clean, comfortable but not 'modern' with friendly and helpful staff - what more can u ask 4 on a cheap one night flying visit?!! Its is small, rooms, lift even the reception area but when u spend all day sightseeing, all u need is a room with a bed - which is exactly what we got!! U get what u pay 4!

07.02.2003 Riaz (Glasgow) Hotel was quite small as were the rooms. The en suite shower room was small but clean. The breakfast was good but there was no hot chocolate!!! Staff were helpfull and the location was good. It was close to the metro and to local shops. The distance to the Eifel Tower was however about 10 minutes!

12.01.2003 Keith & Carol (England) Great location, Good Staff, Great Breakfast. Disapointed in the satndard of Rooms. In room 34 you would not have space to swing a Mouse let alone a Cat. Decor very dated and worn. One English speaking TV channel CNN... Need I say more..

09.10.2002 Molly (California) We visited many countries during our trip and this was the one bad experience we had. The coffee maker did not work, our room was not clean, safes were not supplied as indicated on the information about this hotel, and the staff were not helpful. If you are thinking of staying here, keep looking. You can definitely find a better hotel for the money.

09.09.2002 Daniel (Germany) Very good location. Nice personal (french charme !!) and a very good breakfast with CROISSANTS !!!! Everything worked without problems. And for the children it was imposant to stay so close to the "Eiffelturm".

01.08.2002 Yvette & Dan (London UK) Nice little hotel. Good location. Not as close to the Eiffel Tower as that picture would have you believe (!) but only 10-15 min walk anyway. Staff very helpful and breakfast yummy. Would definitely return.

31.07.2002 Molly (California) This hotel was nothing like the description. The paint and wallpaper were peeling, the room was dirty, and the coffee maker did not work. There was no safe, and reception charges 4 euros for a safe deposit box. The staff did not seem to know anything about the area and could not offer any help. You can easily find a better hotel in the same price range.

25.07.2002 Molly (California) The description of this hotel is not at all accurate based on our recent experience. The hotel rooms have not been renovated. We had peeling paint, peeling wallpaper, and a shower that barely worked. There was no safe in the room (they wanted to charge us an additional 4 euros per day for use of a safe deposit box at reception) and the coffee maker in the room did not work. They also attempted to charge us extra for breakfast although it was included in the rate. The desk staff were not helpful in any way as they did not seem to know the area at all. I knew as much about Paris as they did. The room was not clean, and we had to complain at the front desk to get it cleaned. We stayed in four different hotels throughout Europe on our recent trip, and I would highly recommend all of them with the exception of this hotel. My advice is to find somewhere else to stay. You should easily be able to find a decent hotel at the same rates this hotel charges per night.

21.05.2002 Gina (Alaska) The hotel was clean and pretty. The beds were foam mattresses, but comfortable. It's an older building so the rooms are small. The elevator is tiny (it barely holds three people) so bring small suitcases. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. We stayed three nights and each staff member was very nice and helpful. We would stay again in a heartbeat!

01.01.2002 mike (US) When the Eiffel Tower lights up and sparkles at night, it is a view to die for! I liked the hotel very much and the neighborhood even better.
